The ELO Social Technology aims to improve the relationship between the family and school through integrated mediation for conflict resolution and valuing education and knowledge in the community.

PARTICIPATORY CONSTRUCTION (2017)

In the diagnosis made by IPTI and educators with the families of some municipal schools in Santa Luzia do Itanhy, problems such as low self-esteem, psychological distress, feeling of helplessness, and lack of perspective were noticed. In the children, five of the main problems related to health, behavior, performance, and affection were identified

Development (2018)

The proposal of this technology is structured in three pillars: - Mediation, both between the school, the community, and the students themselves; - Approaching the school families through activities of integration of parents technical knowledge with the content taught; - Improving trust in the child protection system by developing an app so that schools can report occurrences and monitor the actions taken by the responsible bodies

RESULTS

Concrete results, with direct influence on human development.

BETWEEN 2017 AND 2018, WE ADVANCED WITH THE PREMISSES REGARDING MEDIATION BETWEEN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY AND THE PROCESS OF APPROACHING FAMILIES THROUGH THE PROJECT, WITH A HIGHLIGHT IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE RAIMUNDO CARVALHO DE MENEZES MUNICIPAL SCHOOL IN RUA DA PALHA.

This project had to be stopped in mid-2018 due to prioritization defined by the supporter, but we hope to resume it soon, starting again with a new version which already incorporates the lessons learned.
