Débora Bahia makes up the Office of Project Management at IPTI. A graduate in Social Communications with an extension in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Tiradentes (UNIT), she is a post-grad in Philosophy and Self-Knowledge at PUC-RS. Débora has more than 15 years of experience in sales and currently dedicates herself to research, development, and management of social businesses.

Dr. Geraldo Ribeiro Filho is an Associate Researcher and Co-Founder of IPTI. A Graduate in mathematics from the University of Mogi das Cruzes, with specialization in Higher Mathematics at PUC-MG, Dr. Geraldo holds a MA and Ph.D. in Applied Computing at the National Institute for Space Research. A professor at the United Faculty of Suzano (UNISUZ) and the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC), his current research interests lie mainly in heuristics and metaheuristics, and mathematical programming.

Marcel Magalhães is a collaborating member of the Research Institute for Technology and Innovation (IPTI). He is a gradute in Cinema and Audiovisual Production from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) and partner-owner of Vixe Filmes. He works as a Producer, Photographer, and Director in advertising and content production for television and cinema. He recently produced – alongside Isaac Dourado – the documentary Morena dos Olhos Pretos, released at the Recine festival in Rio de Janeiro, about the life and work of the singer Clemilda. He has participated in several Brazilian and foreign festivals.

Coordinator and researcher of the Synapse Childhood Education Social Technology at the Research Institute for Technology and Innovation (IPTI). She is a graduate in Mathematics from the Universidade Tiradentes (UNIT), a post-grad in Mathematics Teaching Methodology and in Neuropsychopedagogy at the Leonardo da Vinci University Center (UNIASSELVI), an Administration Technician licensed by the Department of Education (SEED/SE), a member of the History of Educational Practices Research Group/PPED/UNIT, and a graduate in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS).

A graduate in Systems Development at Faculdade de Negócios de Sergipe (2009) and a Specialist in Systems Development For Social Technologies, by IPTI, Ruanceli Santos coordinated the development of Social Technology software: i) Hb (combating anemia in schools), winner of the Banco do Brasil Foundation Social Technology Award, in 2013; ii) Arte com Ciência (specialization in audiovisual production and production of educational objects for high school); iii) Synapse (pedagogical methodology for teaching and learning Portuguese and mathematics in early childhood). In addition, he coordinates the social technologies TAG, a school management system, qualified by the Ministry of Education (MEC) to appear in the Guide to Educational Technologies (2015); CLOC, a social technology for the qualification of programmers and insertion of computer programming in public schools, finalist of the Fundação Banco do Brasil (FBB) Social Technology Award, in 2019; and VECTORS, a Social Technology for fighting disease-causing vectors. Outside IPTI, he has worked at 3 institutions between 2008 and 2010 as systems developer for FCES, as front-end developer of applications for Hipersocial, and as systems development coordinator for the Remote Education Core at UFS.

Samantha Cordista is part of the Project Management Office of the Research Institute for Technology and Innovation (IPTI). A graduate in Pedagogy from the University of São Paulo, she is also a post-grad in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She has more than 7 years of experience as a primary education teacher and 10 years in the development and operationalization of business flows and processes. Currently, she is dedicated to Research, Development, and Management of Social Projects in basic education.

Born in Sergipe, visionary, creative, anarchist, apatheist and elitist, Saulo Barretto is an ideas engineer with a Phd in analysis and solution of complex structural problems. He is one of the founders of IPTI (www.ipti.org.br), a social organization headquartered in Santa Luzia do Itanhy, with offices in New York, São Paulo and London. Specialist in Social Technologies and social investment and resident of the village of Pedra Furada, Santa Luzia do Itanhy, Sergipe, Brazil.

Thatiana Carvalho is a Master in Biotechnology and Natural Resources and a Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Sergipe. She is also a graduate in Tourism Management (2016) by the Federal Institute of Education, aScience and Technology of Sergipe (IFS), and Specialist in Tourism Planning (2018) by the Federal University of Sergipe. Currently, she coordinates Local Development Projects in communities on the North Coast of the State of Sergipe and is a coordinator/researcher of Social Technologies in Quality Management at the Research Institute for Technology and Innovation (IPTI).
