Associate Researchers
The General Assembly, a superior normative and decision-making organ, is constituted of all researchers associated with IPTI who are exercising their rights. Among others, the General Assembly will be solely responsible for: I. electing and dismissing the directors of IPTI and their eventual substitutes; II. elect the IPTI representative on the Board of Managers; III. approve the accounts, financial reports, general and specific statements; IV. amend the Statutes;
The IPTI Executive Board is responsible for promoting and complying with institutional objectives, according to the guidelines and plans approved by the Board of Managers. It is incumbent upon the IPTI Executive Board to I. comply with and enforce the Bylaws and the resolutions of the Board of Managers; II. execute IPTI's strategies and activity plans, observing the guidelines and guidelines established by the Board of Managers; III. authorize expenses and promote the payment of obligations; IV. sign agreements, arrangements, and contracts, including national and international financing and/or loans; V. represent IPTI actively and passively and may appoint attorneys-in-fact, lawyers or agents with specific purposes; VI. forward accounting, financial balances and management reports to the Board of Managers for the previous year; PS.: Get more information about the competences and performance of the Executive Board and the General Assembly in our Statute.
BOARD OF MANAGERS
The Board of Managers is the deliberative, controlling, coordinating and setting body for IPTI organization and functioning guidelines. To sum up, the Board of Managers is responsible for the following attributions: I. to approve IPTI's plans, proposals, programs, goals, guidelines, and strategies, concerning matters of an administrative nature, organization, and functioning of the institution, to ensure proper compliance with bureaucratic and administrative procedures; II. approve contracts and agreements between IPTI and Sergipe state, proposed by the Executive Board; III. approve and forward IPTI accounting, financial, equity and management reports to the Audit Committee; IV. supervise the management of the members of the Executive Board and examine at any time the records, securities, and documents referring to any administrative acts; V. send to the Public Prosecutor's Office a case in which the liability of a member of the Executive Board for a crime against public property under IPTI administration is verified; The Board of Managers is composed of people of notable capacity and recognized moral integrity, representatives of the Public Power and Civil Society, with the following constitution: PS .: Get more information about the competencies and functioning of the Board of Managers in our Statute.

The Audit Committee is the body that inspects IPTI's financial actions in the use of the funds raised. Essentially, it is incumbent upon the Fiscal Council: I. to monitor the compliance of legal, statutory, and procedure duties; II. transmit a reasoned opinion, at the end of the financial year, on the accounts, financial reports, and balance sheets, for later forwarding for publication in the Official Gazette of the State and in a newspaper of great local circulation and to the State control, especially to the planned Intersectoral Commission in the caput of article 6 of State Law no. 5,217, of December 15, 2003; III. to investigate and present to the higher bodies the acts that are not consistent with the objectives and purposes of the IPTI; IV. assess contracts with the Public authorities, which encumber the entity's assets, complete or partly; The Fiscal Council is composed of 03 (three) members and an equal number of alternates, versed in Accounting, Administration or Law, for terms of 2 (two) years, with reappointment allowed PS.: Get more information about the competences and functioning of the Audit Committee in our Statute.
