Dr. Geraldo Ribeiro Filho is a Associate Researcher and Co-Founder of IPTI. Graduated in mathematics from the University of Mogi das Cruzes, with specialization in Higher Mathematics at PUC-MG, Dr. Geraldo holds a MA and Ph.D. in Applied Computing at the National Institute for Space Research. Professor at the United Faculty of Suzano (UNISUZ) and the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC), his currently interests of research and development to Operations Research, mainly heuristics and metaheuristics, and mathematical programming.
Dr. Saulo Faria Almeida Barretto is a Associate Researcher and Co-Founder of IPTI, where he is responsible for the institutional relationships and new business. Graduated in Civil Engineering by the Federal University of Sergipe, he obtained a master's degree and Ph.D. in Structures at the University of São Paulo, including periods at the Technische Universität Braunschweig (Germany) and Columbia University (United States). The themes of R&D in which Dr. Saulo Barretto is currently interested refer to the relationship between education and new information and communication technologies and the adoption of virtual knowledge networks as a mechanism for promoting social and economic development.
